Maine Open Lighthouse Day at the Lighthouse Museum – Sept. 14th

Visiting your favorite lighthouses on Maine Open Lighthouse Day, September 14th? Lots of lighthouses are in the midcoast area, including Rockland Breakwater, Owls Head, Marshall Point, Pemaquid Point, Dyce Head and Fort Point. The Museum will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. FREE ADMISSION on this day, of course donations are always welcome! We would love to see you! Even if you have visited us before we are always creating new exhibits!
The Maine Lighthouse Museum is home to the largest collection of lighthouse, lifesaving and U.S. Coast Guard artifacts in the nation. You will see our large collection of beautiful Fresnel lenses, foghorns and bells as well as many different exhibits highlighting the lighthouses and keepers who have served at them.
